Alyeska

Rank Insignias (Land Forces)

The uniform currently worn by the Alyeskan Armed Forces is based on the one worn by japanese forces during the Second Great War. An unused surplus was bought cheaply by the government to equip its army and the design (except for some minor modifications due changes in fashion) as been the one worn ever since.

The insignias worn by army personnel are inspired from the pre-1920 russian system although without "blank" boards for some officers and with chevron instead of bars for non-officers. The alyeskan navy on the other hand have insignias directly inspired by the Red Navy of the Russian Civil War.

Note that the small air force of Alyeska is not an autonomous branch but rather a support arm. For this reason, air personnel wear a pale blue uniform with the insignias of the branch to which they are attached.

Rank Insignias (Naval Forces)

The uniform and insignias currently worn by the Alyeskan Naval Forces is based on the one worn by the Red Navy during the Russian Civil War. The design (except for some minor modifications due to changes in fashion) as been the one worn ever since.

In addition to the Air support branch, the Naval Forces is also composed of an Amphibious branch. The former wear a pale blue version of the naval uniform while the later wears the regular Land Force suit but with naval insignias.
